We have a new project manager! Lavinia Poku has been part of our Solid family for a month now. In the past month she has thrown herself with full energy into the ongoing projects, and with success!

Lavinia brings with her a wealth of experience. Her career path has led her to various leadership positions at various telecom companies. For example, she climbed from shop supervisor to team leader and finally to trainer-coach. In this role in the field of Learning & Development, among other things, she provided training to employees who were given new roles within the company. Her trainings focused not only on practical skills, but also on improving performance and personal growth of employees.

The traits Lavinia developed as an elite athlete she applies in her professional life. Virtually all the information needed for a new placement is transferred from OTYS to Timechimp and back with the link. The linkage has eliminated Noël Franklin so much manual work.

How does the link between OTYS and TimeChimp work for Noël Franklin?
From OTYS data of placements, employers, contacts and candidates are retrieved through webhooks. The user in OTYS is therefore responsible himself to offer the data to the link. This can be done with 2 special action buttons added in OTYS. Solid Online offers the possibility to expand the number of linked operating companies. Noël Franklin has 2 operating companies and the data is transferred from OTYS to two different TimeChimp environments.
From both TimeChimp environments data of changed placements, contacts and candidates are retrieved and transferred to OTYS.

The Connector link eliminates the need to manually transfer data from Otys to TimeChimp. Virtually all information required for a new placement is transferred to the correct TimeChimp environment with the link. Only a few manual (control) actions are required to have the project finally ready in Timechimp. Then everything is ready and the candidate can start booking his or her hours on the project he or she is assigned to. The candidate can also make changes to TimeChimp which are then sent back to OTYS.

STAN Partners is a Zaanish job placement company, STAN has organized itself into six operating companies, each with its own services. These operating companies consist of PDZ Uitzendbureau, Teamflex Personeelsdiensten, Louter Recruitment, Loopbaan.NU, STAN Opleidingen and Flexcellens. STAN is now using the Solid Online Hours Transformer, which means that their hours process is now fully automated.

The Uren Transformer for STAN Partners makes it possible to read different types of submitted time files and convert them to FlexService standards. This eliminates the need for retyping, reduces errors and speeds up the process regarding time sheets.

Part of this process is the automatic unraveling of hours. In Solid Online's application, STAN itself can add, modify and manage new hour files to be processed using hour templates and various modules. In addition, Solid Online provides real-time insight into the progress of the process in the cockpit available for this purpose.

Solid Online combined for STAN Partners the implementation of the Transformer with setting up the customer files and explaining and training STAN's own staff so that they can set up future customers themselves in the Hours Transformer.

Since going live, several clients have been implemented independently by STAN Partners.

Sick leave only needs to be registered in AFAS and from there everything runs automatically.

How the coupling works

The Solid Online Connector runs between AFAS and Klout7. This is Acture's own self-developed software system. They register sick reports that Oranjegroep receives in AFAS. The Connector retrieves the sick report and translates it into the format that Klout7 needs to process the sick report. Once the temporary worker is better again, recovery notifications from Klout7 follow by e-mail. Acture takes care of the complete handling of the absenteeism process for Oranjegroep. Recovery notifications arrive by e-mail the Connector and are processed automatically. The Connector works as a "black-box," meaning that the employees of Oranjegroep do not see the data flow via the Connector , the necessary data are automatically put in the right place in both systems.

Solid Online and Easyflex introduce Placement Direct: advanced linking for placements

For many staffing agencies, transferring candidate placement data to the back office system is a time-consuming process. Emails are sent, phone calls are made and sometimes valuable time can be lost if the office is busy. In addition, numerous details must be entered, such as industry information, rates and pension plans, before a candidate can actually start work.

But now there is a solution: Placement Direct, an Advanced Feature at Connector, designed specifically for Easyflex-users. This new feature allows staffing agencies to send all the necessary placement data directly to Easyflex with the click of a button, as soon as a candidate is placed in the source system.

For example, suppose a temporary worker receives a new assignment in the hospitality industry. Thanks to Placement Direct, all details such as the correct sector classification, pay period and other important information are entered directly and correctly into the back office system. This not only saves valuable time, but also minimizes errors that can occur with manual entry.

Placement Direct allows employment agencies to work more efficiently, get candidates to work faster and focus on providing high-quality service. This makes it a welcome innovation for the industry.

Placement Direct is made possible through a close collaboration between Solid Online and partner Easyflex. Thanks to their joint efforts, staffing agencies now have the ability to transmit comprehensive placement data directly from the source system to Easyflex, without delays or errors. Placement Direct has been put to use by a number of Solid Online customers. The functionality was developed in close cooperation with NED Personeel, in addition Liber Personeel now uses Placement Direct.

Liber Personnel is a young and driven staffing agency for property maintenance personnel. The hours saved by Placement Direct allow them to spend more time finding suitable candidates and providing excellent service to both candidates and clients.

Employment agency NED Personeel Provides staffing services in 5 sectors. By using Placement Direct, processing a placement now takes significantly less time than before. This means significant time savings for placements only, in addition, of course, there is already the time savings due to all master data being automatically forwarded via Connector . This allows the candidates to get to work faster and the agency to focus on other important tasks.

Stay Connected: successful Solid Online Event celebrates collaborations

May 16, the first Stay Connected Solid Online Event took place. From the rooftop bar of our new office in Hoofddorp, customer cases were presented on various topics. Stay Connected was attended by customers, partners and other interested parties. Many ideas were exchanged during the subsequent networking drinks. The right mix of informative and informal made the afternoon a success.

The event began with a series of inspiring presentations focusing on customer cases from the staffing industry.

It was kicked off with the presentation on Charlie works. Richard Baas and Félicienne Harteveld-Minnaar of Solid Online told how the Uren Transformer makes processing hours easier for Charlie works.

A short break was followed in the Metis room by the customer case of Logistic Force. Together with Debby Smits and Jeroen Wouters of Logistic Force , Pieter-Bas Piscaer of Solid Online presented about the Connector running at Logistic Force in two forms: one between AFAS and Acture for absence registration. The other between AFAS and Clevergig, for managing sales relationships, employees and their competencies.

At the same time, from the Hemera room, the customer case of NED Personeel Placement Direct, an Advanced Feature on the Connector. The presentation was done by Collin Regter and Janno Elst from NED Personeel together with Richard Baas from Solid Online. Richard developed this Advanced Feature on the Connector together with Easyflex, which means that NED Personeel now has extensive possibilities at its disposal for processing placement data.

Last but not least, David Hill of our partner presented ABN AMRO about Payday. With this new app, freelancers are paid faster. Solid Online ensures that Payday integrates with back-office packages of the employment agencies and that the hours get to the ABN AMRO as quickly as possible.

The host of the afternoon was our intern Larissa Boerenstam, who organized this event as a graduation project of her Creative Business study at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA). Her dedication and creativity helped create the positive atmosphere of the event.

The event offered not only an informative platform, but also an informal setting where clients, partners, Solid employees and the other attendees could interact. While enjoying snacks and drinks from Farm Kitchen, valuable connections were made and ideas were exchanged. The convivial get-together was graced by the music of DJ Vaganza.

With the success of Stay Connected in mind, Solid is already looking ahead to the next event planned for next fall. It promises to be another unique opportunity to strengthen customer relationships, enter into new collaborations and explore the latest developments within the broadcast software industry.

Xentys: smooth transition to Mysolution with data migration by Solid Online

Xentys is a recruitment agency that specializes in consulting services in technical procurement. They recently switched to their new system, Mysolution. For Xentys it was of course important that all data from their old system could be found in the right place in Mysolution. Solid Online took care of the data migration, so Xentys could quickly continue in the new system.

How did the data migration go?

Xentys provided an export of some of the data to be migrated. We also retrieved much of the data, including documents and emails, from the API of the old system. The master data was transferred over a weekend (candidates/clients/contacts/vacancies/placements). In the following week, the emails/documents were migrated. Then the remaining data was transferred with a delta migration. A delta migration has 2 phases, in phase 1 Xentys, after exporting all data, could still continue working in the old system. In phase 2 these last made changes were also migrated and Xentys could continue in their new system where all data were in the right place. This was the first data migration Solid Online did to Mysolution. For Solid Online a nice milestone on the road to more data migrations and links with Mysolution.
