Candidate and placement data from Timing staffing agency to Workday for Kramp

Kramp, Europe’s largest specialist in spare parts and accessories for the agricultural industry, has once again opted for a Solid Connector. The first interface was with Randstad. This time it concerns an interface with the staffing agency Timing. Timing uses Mysolution as its back office and is now linked by the Connector to Workday, Kramp’s back office.

Kramp uses Workday as its HR system and Timing, one of the large staffing agencies Kramp works with, uses Mysolution. The Connector sends candidate and placement data from Mysolution to Workday. This data flow from Timing to Kramp is now completely automatic. As a result, the manual creation and/or modification of this data for Kramps large group of temporary workers has been dispensed with. This saves Kramp time and prevents errors or differences in the data within the 2 systems.

RGF Staffing offers training courses for their employees through Opleiding.nl and AFAS is their back office. Employee data is automatically transferred from AFAS to Opleiding.nl by the Connector interface. Now RGF Staffing no longer needs to manually update this information in Opleiding.nl. If there is a change in an employee at RGF Staffing, this change will automatically be implemented in Opleiding.nl. This reduces the number of manual actions, it prevents errors and delays in updating, and avoids differences between the data in both systems.

Opleiding.nl has been added to the ecosystem of the Solid Online Connector especially for RGF Staffing. All systems linked to the Connector are also immediately available to other companies. View all systems linked to the Connector here.

In addition to the recent Enterprise Connector, RGF Staffing has been using Solid Online’s Hours Transformer and Invoices Transformer for years. For RGF Staffing, the Hours Transformer processes 1.073255 hours per month, and the Invoices Transformer processes 9936 invoices per month.

Brainbridge Workforce Solutions takes a step in digital transformation with Data Migration to Bullhorn

Brainbridge Workforce Solutions, one of the market leaders in providing innovative Workforce & IT solutions, has moved to a new ATS, Bullhorn. Together with  HRLinkIT, Solid Online realized the transition. HRlinkIT ensured the correct setup of the Bullhorn environment and Solid Online ensured a smooth Data Migration from the old ATS to Bullhorn.

Tens of thousands of records had to be migrated to realize the transition to Bullhorn. To ensure a smooth Data Migration, we started with an extensive preliminary phase in which Brainbridge’s wishes were mapped out. Based on this, a CSV export was prepared and a test migration was done, after which the data was transferred to Bullhorn via the API. Brainbridge has now been working successfully for several weeks in Bullhorn, where all data can be found in the right place.

What are the benefits of this partnership for OTYS customers?

How does it work

Solid Online has a new Head of Administration. Hendrina Vooijs was one of the first employees of Solid, and now she’s back! No one ever really leaves Solid, and Hendrina is a good example of this. After working as an Assistant Accountant for some time, she was looking for a new challenge. Coincidentally, Solid was looking for a Head of Administration and so the match was quickly made. Hendrina feels at home in the software industry and is looking forward to working for Solid again.

Hendrina loves her profession: she likes to correct numbers and especially to smarten the systems she works with. She is looking forward to further optimizing the accounting process together with her colleague Padma from Solid Online India. They met in 2004 when Hendrina visited the India office.

In her spare time, Hendrina likes to do puzzles. She recently participated in the preliminary rounds for the Dutch jigsaw puzzle championship, organized by the well-known puzzle illustrator Jan van Haasteren. She also likes to hike. With family and friends she walks Dutch long distance hiking trails, the migratory bird path, the limes path and the coastal path. A hiking holiday in the Azores is on the agenda!

HR service provider Logistic Force has opted for the Solid Online Connector with an interface between AFAS and Acture. Logistic Force uses AFAS as back office system and Acture for absence guidance. Acture takes care of the entire absence process for companies, and combined with the Connector, Logistic Force no longer has to worry about absence at all. Sick reports only need to be registered in AFAS and from there everything runs automatically. According to Logistic Force, the Solid Online Connector saves the company one FTE of administrative actions, a nice time saving!

How does the Connector interface work

Acture has its own, self-developed software system, Klout7. The Solid Online Connector runs between Klout7 and AFAS. When Logistic Force receives a sick report, they register it in AFAS. The Connector retrieves the sick report and translates it into the format that Klout7 needs to process it. When the temporary worker has recovered, the recovery notifications from Klout7 will follow by e-mail. Acture takes care of the complete handling of the absenteeism process for Logistic Force. The recovery notifications enter the Connector by e-mail and are automatically implemented. At the same time, the absence report is closed in AFAS. The Connector works as a “black box”, which means that the Logistic Force employees do not see the data flowing through the Connector. The required data is automatically placed in the correct location in both systems.

This functionality is newly developed and deployed at Hammer for the first time!

Hammer Techniek & Detachering specializes in staffing in the Construction and Engineering industry. They use OTYS as their ATS system (Applicant Tracking System) and Easyflex as their back office. Solid Online realized a Connector interface between the two systems. The related topics are Candidates, Clients/Contacts, Placements and Hours. Data entered in OTYS is automatically transferred to Easyflex. This eliminates the need for Hammer employees to transcribe and correct data. It is now just a matter of checking and adjusting where necessary. This saves the staffing agency a lot of time, because all data is now always synchronized and up-to-date in both systems. The transfer mechanism of hours data has been newly developed by Solid. Hammer is the first customer to use this functionality. From now on other companies that use OTYS and Easyflex can also choose to transfer the hours data, such as worked hours, vacation hours or sick hours from OTYS to Easyflex through the Connector.

Larissa Boerenstam: new intern content & communication

We have a new intern on board. Larissa Boerenstam is doing a 6-month internship at Solid Online. She is studying Creative Business at the HvA and this internship is part of the conclusion of her studies. Larissa is working in Solid Online’s content & communication team, where she supports with news releases, the website, social media and corporate videos, among other things.

During her studies, Larissa has already gained a lot of practical experience. During the Concept & Creation semester, she designed and developed the teaching method UP for VMBO with a group of fellow students. This teaching method helped students improve their mental health through all kinds of assignments, offered through various media. Through a website, Facebook and LinkedIn Up created brand awareness. With assignments from their self-made workbook they taught youngsters how to live healthier and talk about their feelings. To support the workbook, healthy recipes and dance challenges were shown via Tik Tok in order to increase interaction with the target group. The teaching method was tested at a number of VMBO schools and was received very enthusiastically by the pupils.   

For her Minor, Larissa did Applied Game design. With a group of students, they achieved a 10 for programming and designing a game about the Harry Potter character Dobby. The game was a visual novel of Dobby’s life, which the player could influence through choices made in the game. The target audience were children aged between 8 and 12, and the aim of the game was to make them experience that certain choices can have good or bad consequences and what you can learn from these.

“I see possibilities”

Besides her internship and studies, Larissa also plays football. She does so both on the field, at Wartburgia Amsterdam, and in the hall, at ZVV Den Haag. That sounds like a very busy schedule, but Larissa says that although it is hard work, there is never a day when she does not feel like it. Playing football gives her energy and it motivates her to keep performing. In the field, she plays right or left wing and in the hall on the sides, attacking. She is quick and versatile, which makes her a perfect fit for this position.  

Larissa has been working at Solid for almost two weeks now. When we ask her about her first impression, she tells us that Solid is “pleasantly busy, with a nice work structure and lots to do”. According to Larissa, this internship fits perfectly with her Media & Marketing specialisation. At Solid, she would like to investigate what new social media platforms could be complementary to propagate Solid Online’s corporate identity. But she would also like to see how to get more out of the platforms Solid is already using. Her drive and fresh perspective are an asset to the Content & Communication team. We are therefore very happy to have Larissa as an intern within our company!

How does it work

The Connector receives or retrieves the data from your ATS. Thanks to the mapping module, Solid Online facilitates customer requirements per data field. The translation is then made to the HelloFlex format. The transformed message is delivered in HelloFlex and any functional feedback and technical errors are presented in your ATS or by email. Even if the integration is successful, this can be shown in the source system. In addition, data enriched in Helloflex can be sent back to the ATS, or exchanged with planning software or a financial package.
